Farringdon Community Academy – ‘Native American Bench’

Seating for 20 students on an updated ‘Native American’ theme.

I built this using materials recycled from the Construction department Students painted the
structure using locally ‘relevant’ images generated during a ‘Native American’ project within the Art
department I worked with Year 8 and 9 students on planning, the design of images, and painting of
the ‘concrete canoe’.

I also built a performance area with Year 11 8.T.E.C. students, and worked on six 8 metre by 2 metre
banners with the three feeder Primary Schools
